Wedding card in Pink & White

Ok, this one is from a couple of weeks ago. The bridesmaids dresses were in pale pink, so thats what I used for the card.

For starters, an A4 sheet of white pearl card was scored and folded for the base card.
Then a second sheet was cut in half to give me the front of the card. I used a Spellbinders die to cut this in half again, Curved Borders 1.

I used the plain cut die on the far right.

Then the bottom half was embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.

The top half was embossed with a Heartfelt Creations folder, Tied Together.

Both pieces were matted onto a sheet of pale pink paper, using foam dots. This piece was then mounted onto the front of the card, again using foam dots.

Two hearts were cut out using a Sizzix hearts die, that has 4 different sized hearts on it. I had some glitter card with a roses design printed on it, and that worked well for a wedding. Again, mounted with foam dots, slightly overlapping.

A mix of pink and white half pearls were added to the joins of the Tied Together design with Pinflair Glue Gel.

Finally I printed off the sentiment, names and wedding date on my PC, then heat embossed them. It's quite possible to heat emboss from a printer, asd long as you print onto a glossy cardstock, using a high saturation of ink. You also need to have the embossing powder to hand, to sprinkle it as soon as it emerges from the printer.
